Career in Horses Internship

Mission Statement:

Mary and Kenny Kimball have a wealth of knowledge gained over 50 years in a variety of different aspects of the Horse Business and want to share this with the next generation. The Career in Horses Internship was developed to enable and facilitate the progressive training of students aspiring to take an active part in the horse industry. By exposing them to a variety of experiences in many different disciplines, and assisting them in planning their steps towards a successful career, our students can learn to be a part of this $12Billion year industry!

Our interns get hired!

There will be interns who have specific goals in mind and those who haven't decided their direction yet. We've seen goals change and new passions emerge because of the exposure to new experiences you will receive through our multi-faceted program.

You will receive plenty of one on one instruction plus a team-oriented, positive atmosphere. No previous experience is necessary. If you love horses, and want to learn more you may qualify. College credits may apply if you have entered into a college equine science or business course.

We are currently taking applications for a few openings in the Career in Horses Internship for Summer 2018. The fun begins May 15 and can continue to November 15, for a week, a month or the whole season.

The internship is very affordable and includes comfortable rooms and delicious meals for resident interns. You can also attend day sessions five days a week. Bring your own horse or use one of Rope's End Ranch's horses; we have a variety of horses trained for different disciplines and levels of experience.
