Horsewise Enterprises, LLC is located on ROPES END RANCH in south central Idaho, sixty miles north of Twin Falls, and twenty five miles South of the famous ski resort of Sun Valley.
Built in 1977, the ranch has also been home to Kimball’s Training Stables. All types of horses have been trained, from racing to roping and from dressage to driving.
It was also the home of Mountain View Stallion Station. Syndicated and privately owned stallions stood at the ranch to produce foals, and sporthorse Hanoverian foals were born to imported German mares owned by Mary Kimball.
A busy riding school taught by Maryand Kenny has always operated at the ranch. Cilincs are conducted on the premises, all over Idaho, and in many states in the Northwest. Internships have always been offered which has produced numerous trainers, jockeys, grooms, and barn managers, etc.
There are two round pens, a large multi-purpose training arena, and Olympic sized dressage court with a judge’s stand, and a gallop track. Numerous barns, runs, and pastures house the horses. Resident students are housed in the apartments in the main barn and in travel trailers. Kenny and Mary Kimball reside on site.
